  • How are Shortcuts Electronic Coupons different from paper coupons?
    Shortcuts Electronic Coupons are similar to paper coupons. They provide savings on the purchase of specific products, but are more convenient to use. There is no paper to cut, sort, and remember to take to the store. When you select a coupon on Shortcuts, it is electronically added to your registered store savings card. All you have to do is go shopping, pick up the product, scan your card at checkout and enjoy your savings. The Shortcuts Electronic Coupon will be automatically redeemed.

    Note: Please remember that, just like paper coupons, Shortcuts Electronic Coupons are single use coupons - once used, they are removed from your wallet.

  • Why can't I find Electronic Coupons I have seen on the site before?
    Shortcuts Electronic Coupons are assigned specific publishing dates, when the publishing period is over, the coupons are automatically removed from the site. Coupons also have a limit on the number of times they can be selected, so if that limit is reached they are also removed from the site. So, please be sure to check back with Shortcuts often and add the savings you want!
  • How can I request Electronic Coupons for specific products?
    Please visit the Send email to your HTML GuideContact Us page to inform us of the products you would like to see supported by Shortcuts Electronic Coupon offers. We will aggregate and share the feedback from all of our members with our coupon partners on a regular basis so that we can try to bring the offers you want most to the site.

  • How do I sign up for a store savings card?
    Please visit your local participating store's customer service counter to get your free store savings card today. Then, be sure to come back to Shortcuts and add the card to your account to start saving on your next grocery bill.
  • How do I register my store cards?
    You can register your store savings card(s) from any of our participating store partners on the My Profile page, where you can update, remove and add a new card.

    Also, please make certain no one else in your home has already added this card number. Remember, a card can only be added to one account.
  • Why do I need to enter my grocery store savings card number?
    You can add an electronic coupon to your Shortcuts account by clicking on the "Add" button to the right of the coupon. Your coupons are then automatically added to the store savings card(s) you have registered with Shortcuts.
  • Can I register more than one grocery store savings card with my account?
    Yes, you may add up to two grocery store savings card to your account per participating retailer. Selected electronic coupons will be added to all eligible cards (some coupons are only available at specific retailers) and will be removed from all eligible cards once redeemed. That way, you can save wherever you shop! You can add more cards to your account in the My Profile area.
  • Why did I receive a message that my card is already registered to another account?
    If you receive this message, you (or a member of your household), may have previously registered that store savings card with Shortcuts using a different email address. If so, please sign in using that account. Otherwise, please click the Need additional help? link below to send us a message with your grocery store savings card number and preferred email address. We will respond with specific information to address your issue. Thanks!
  • My family has multiple cards for the same store. Do I need to register them all?
    Yes, we recommend you register all your store cards with Shortcuts, though you may only redeem one coupon per household. Your savings statement will display coupons redeemed by all store cards registered at your home address.
  • My local store isn't listed when I try to register my grocery store savings card. Where is it?
    Shortcuts is growing and plans to add more participating stores. If we are not yet available in your local area, please leave us your zip code and email address and we will send a note to you when Shortcuts coupons are available at a store near you. Thank you for your interest!
  • How do I remove Electronic Coupons from my Store Savings Card?
    Shortcuts Electronic Coupons are removed from your account and any registered grocery store savings card, either when they expire or when they are redeemed at the store (whichever comes first).

  • How do I add Electronic Coupons to my account?
    You can add an Electronic Coupon to your Shortcuts account by clicking the green "Add" button located to the right of the coupon. Your coupons are then automatically added to the store savings cards you have registered with Shortcuts.
  • How do I know the Electronic Coupons I click have been added to my store card?
    When you select an Electronic Coupon by clicking the "Add" button located to the right of the coupon, the Electronic Coupon is added to your registered store savings card and the "Add" button changes to "Added". All Electronic Coupons that have been added to your card can also be viewed on the My Coupons page at any time.
  • How do I confirm which store my Electronic Coupon was added to?
    Electronic Coupons are automatically added to all the store savings cards you have registered with your Shortcuts account. Be sure to carefully review the Electronic Coupon offer restrictions, since some are only available at certain stores. Please keep in mind, once you redeem an Electronic Coupon at one store, it cannot be used again. To review the Electronic Coupons you have selected, go to the My Coupons page.
  • I clicked Electronic Coupons, but they did not add to my account.
    This issue is easily resolved by enabling JavaScript from your browser. Below are instructions for each type of web browser to enable JavaScript. Please find your browser below and follow the detailed steps.

      1. Select 'Tools' from the top menu
      2. Choose "Internet Options"
      3. Click the "Security" tab
      4. Click "Custom Level"
      5. Scroll down until you see section labeled "Scripting"
      6. Under "Active Scripting", select "Enable" and click "OK"

      1. Select "Edit" from the top menu
      2. Choose "Prefernces"
      3. Choose "Advanced"
      4. Choose "Scripts & Plugins"
      5. Select the "Enable JavaScript" checkbox and click "OK"

      1. Select "Tools" from the top menu
      2. Choose "Options"

    Ensure that you have a savings card and that the coupon is valid in your area for that retailer. You can only add coupons that are available in your geographic area or that are available at the retailer for your savings card. Coupons that are not available at your retailer or are not available in your geographic area will cannot be added to your card.

    Your wallet may be full. You can add up to 75 Electronic Coupons to your Shortcuts account at any given time. You will be able to add more coupons once you redeem a coupon from your account or when a coupon that you have added expires.

  • Why do I see Electronic Coupons on my account that I have not added from Shortcuts?
    Shortcuts partners with other Electronic Coupon sites to provide you even more opportunities to save, so you may see Electronic Coupons on your Shortcuts account that you may have selected from one of our partner sites. This is another feature Shortcuts offers to save you even more money.
  • How many Shortcuts Electronic Coupons can I add to my account at one time?
    You may add up to 75 electronic coupons to your account at any time. Visit your favorite store, redeem coupons, and come back to Shortcuts to add new coupons as often as you wish!

  • How do I redeem Shortcuts Electronic Coupons?
    Shortcuts Electronic Coupons are completely paperless. Once coupons are selected from Shortcuts, they are added to your registered store savings card and are redeemed automatically at checkout when you scan your card. There is no clipping and no paper to take with you to the store. It's the easiest way to save on groceries!

    Shortcuts Electronic Coupon savings are shown on your grocery store receipt. The savings are displayed as either "Scuts Savings" or "MFR Savings" either below the item purchased, or at the bottom of your receipt.
  • How do I know when a Shortcuts Electronic Coupon has been redeemed?
    Shortcuts Electronic Coupons are automatically deducted at checkout. Review your store receipt, and these savings are displayed as either "Scuts Savings" or "MFR Savings. " You can also review your redeemed coupons on the Grocery Savings page.
  • My Electronic Coupons didn't redeem when I shopped.
    If you selected Electronic Coupons on Shortcuts and purchased the items but they were not redeemed correctly, you can file a dispute. Please have your store receipt and the item you are disputing handy.

  • Can I use Shortcuts Electronic Coupons at any grocery store?
    Shortcuts Electronic Coupons can be used at any participating grocery store. You can see the list of participating stores for any offer by clicking the "Details" link below any coupon or On Sale Now offer.
  • Are Shortcuts Electronic Coupons doubled at my local store?
    Shortcuts Electronic Coupons are doubled only based on your store's policy and at the discretion of the store.
  • Can I use an Electronic Coupon more than once?
    No. Shortcuts Electronic Coupons can only be used once.
  • How do I print my Electronic Coupons?
    Shortcuts Electronic Coupons are completely paperless. You do not have to print anything in order to redeem Shortcuts Electronic Coupons. Simply present your store savings card at checkout, and your selected coupons are automatically deducted from your grocery bill.

    Of course, it is a good idea to print out a list as a reminder of which coupons you have stored on your store savings card. You can print a reminder of all the coupons you have selected directly from the Savings List.
  • I printed my Electronic Coupons, but I don't see a barcode. What do I do?
    Don't worry! Shortcuts Electronic Coupons do not have barcodes. It's a totally paperless couponing service. The Electronic Coupons are added directly to your store card and redeemed automatically when you purchase the appropriate products and scan your registered store savings card at checkout.

  • How can I check the expiration date for my Electronic Coupons?
    Not sure when your Electronic Coupons will expire? We have made it simple. The expiration date is given on each Electronic Coupon. To view all of the Electronic Coupons that you have added to you card, along with the expiration date for each, please go to the On My Cards Now page.

  • What is "Shortcuts Cash"?
    "Shortcuts Cash" Electronic Coupons are generic coupons that are issued by select stores to individual members to remedy confirmed disputes. Currently, Shortcuts Cash is only available to members with the following store cards: Baker's, City Market, Dillons, Fry's, Food For Less, Fred Meyer,Gerbes, Hilander, JayC, King Soopers, Kroger, Owen's, Pay Less, Quality Food Centers, Ralphs and Smith's.   • My "Shortcuts Cash" coupons didn't work, what can I do?
    A technical limitation may have caused your Shortcuts Cash coupons to not work properly.
